The all motor competition allows only cars that do not use forced induction such as turbocharging or supercharging, and enhancements such as nitrous oxide. The Pro Stock T-shirts are being introduced to celebrate the exciting sport of Pro Stock drag racing that emerged in 1970 with the National Hot Rod Association Pro Stock class. The competition is literally neck-to-neck since the rules require the engine and the body to be manufactured by the same company and raw components available for everyone to purchase, with engines restricted to a maximum of 500 cu in, single-camshaft, 90-degree V8. The front runners achieve a maximum speed of 213 miles per hours in 6.47 seconds approximately, and the difference between the front runner and the final #16 qualifier is as little as 0.05 seconds.
