Mayfairsilk has a new limited-edition design pillowcase with a leopard and floral print featuring a blush, peach, grey, and chocolate palette with envelope closure. Like all of the silk purveyor’s bedding products, it’s made from 100% pure Mulberry silk without any synthetic materials.

The pillowcase is made in 25 momme silk, which is the measurement unit for silk and can be compared to thread count for cotton. One momme equals 4.34 grams/sqm, and 25 momme equals 108.5 grams/sqm. 19 momme pillowcases are only 82.4 grams/sqm, meaning 25 momme has 30% more silk. This makes 25 momme silk more durable and softer, as well as provides a deeper colour and more opaque that is ideal for designer fabrics.
The Mulberry silk used also has a 6A grade, which is the highest grade used to rate silk. Compared to lower gradings, 6A is much softer and has a more luminous shine. Only 2% of the annual production globally meets this grade, underlining the value of Mayfairsilk’s pillowcases.
The high-quality silk makes the pillowcases very gentle on the skin and hair, reducing frizz and wrinkles. Additionally, silk is naturally hypoallergenic and temperature-regulating, making it comfortable throughout all seasons.
