RA Veitch & Co Accountants from Norwood SA releases its Financial Planning and SMSF Advisory Service under the brand of SMSF Specialist SA. More information can be found at http://raveitch.com.au/
RA Veitch & Co Chartered Accountants launch of its new Financial Planning and SMSF Advisory Service will be under the brand name SMSF Specialist SA, and it's set to go live on 20th June.
The idea for creating the Financial Planning and SMSF Advisory Services came about after market research clearly showed that people want and trust their accountant to deliver a complete service of not just tax planning but financial advice, especially with Self-Managed Super Funds. The practice was started by Robert Veitch in 1987 at Norwood, South Australia.
The Financial Planning and SMSF Advisory Service has actually been in development for the last 2 years and the team was made up of Robert Veitch, Andrew Veitch and support staff working on it. Robert who has a passion for Self-Managed Superannuation Funds, has been accredited by the SMSF Association of Australia as an SMSF Specialist Advisor.
Robert is passionate about helping clients achieve their financials goals so they can have a secure and prosperous future, so he has done something different compared to other accounting businesses. He made the decision to have their Financial Planning Service in house rather than have their clients find their own financial planner when new legislation came in place in July of 2016. The new act states that if an accountant wishes to provide financial product advice or other financial services, they must hold an AFS licence or become an authorised representative. This includes giving advice on SMSF’s.
The Financial Planning and SMSF Advisory Service will be released as part of practice's greater plans to be more than just tax accountants to their clients. "A common theme in the coming evolution of accounting services is that accountants need to shift from preparing historical financial and business documents based on past transactions to providing insights and advice for financial and business decisions" said Robert Veitch.
Robert is also quoted saying: "By exploring our client’s current situation and assisting them in discovering what is really important to them, we will help to articulate their short, medium and long-term goals that become the foundation of our advice. With an agreed ongoing service standard, we ensure we work together as a team with our clients toward achieving the goals they set."
