The new courses include original demo scene and full production; filming with the director, director of photography, and crew; music and scoring; coaching and marketing with Walid Chaya; and consulting with Rapid Reelz demo partners, among others.
For actors ready to submit for professional castings and auditions, Walid recommends "Actors Scene Creation 8-Week Demo Class." This course begins August 23 and will prepare actors on how to shoot their first film or television show. Walid will reveal industry secrets, acting techniques, and on-set production strategies to give students the leverage they need to beat the competition.
A competitive 2-minute scene for their demo reel is given at the end of the course, helping you get noticed by casting directors and talent agents for booking acting roles. The all-inclusive 8-week course includes a portfolio review, writing session, script presentation, scene study, run-through and shoot day.
If you’re a new actor or simply want to further improve your self-taping and audition skills, there’s a course for you, as well: "Actors Self-Tape Lab 7-Week On-Camera Class." This course begins August 30 and helps you create your own self-tapes. You will be provided material and coached by Walid, himself, for three scenes: including drama, comedy and a scene of your choice. These self-tape videos will be emailed to you two weeks after filming.
