The Arlington preschool and daycare center has announced updates to its acclaimed learning-based program. The service is now available seven days a week between the hours of 8 AM and 7 PM.

Considered one of the best preschool and daycare centers in the Arlington area, Chrystal’s Learning Center aims at providing a safe environment for children when their parents and other family members are unavailable. The center guarantees quality service, caring for basic needs, preparing for kindergarten, or helping older children with homework.
The main focus of the learning center’s curriculum is children’s literature. According to the owner, Dina S. Kaswatuka, the school’s program uses high-quality children’s literature to teach literacy concepts, including phonemic and phonetic awareness, letter recognition, and writing. The center has also incorporated the Mother Goose program in its curriculum. She added that the program also builds character as children explore character traits such as responsibility, patience, creativity, and respect.
Apart from infants, toddlers, two-year-olds, and preschoolers, Chrystal’s Learning Center also caters to Pre-K, Junior Kindergarten, Private Kindergarten, and before and after school care. Summer Camp is also available, along with Spring Break and Flex Care services.
Dina, who is also the Director of the center, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. The owner also has five years of experience working as a substitute teacher, and with her current academic pursuit will soon become a certified teacher.
It is Dina’s belief that Chrystal’s Learning Center’s infants, preschoolers, toddlers, and school-age programs provide the perfect foundation for learning. The center is enrolled in the nutrition program and is thus able to offer free meals to students.
