Get trained and certified in a new career, you don’t have to quit your job or hire a babysitter for months of classes. The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (306-559-2410) near Regina lets you do most of your learning online, with 1 week of practical training.
Have you noticed that the internet seems to have made it harder to find a job?
Maybe it's just me, but it seems like every company wants you to apply online, in triplicate, and then drop off a resume in person before they're even willing to consider you - and I thought the internet was supposed to make things easier.
While I can't say much about the hiring process - at least it's made job training a lot simpler.
There's just no reason that you should have to go and attend a class in-person, as an adult, when you could get the same education from home, on your own time, without having to quit your day job or hire a babysitter.
Of course, some schools manage this better than others - like the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy. They have locations all across Canada, and one of the fastest, most efficient, and most effective training programs you'll find for aestheticians. They don't make you come to the school at all, except for a week or two of practical training at the end of your course.
If that sounds like something you might be interested in, keep reading and I'll tell you what I know about them, or you can just visit their website at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy
The Dermysk Academy offers three courses, Basic, Advanced, and Master level medical aesthetics - as well as a few courses that are only for licensed doctors and nurses, but we probably don't need to discuss those. What's important is that their courses are easy to access, you can learn at your own pace, and when you graduate, you're ready to start your new career.
For example, if you just want a quick start to your new career, you can enroll in the Basic course with no previous experience, as long as you have a high school diploma. You'll be given 7 online learning modules to complete from home, at your own pace - and then the fun begins. After your online learning, you'll come to the Academy for one week of hands-on, practical training, using real tools, on real people.
How long it takes you to graduate is up to you, but some students can get their certification in as little as a few months. The coolest thing though, is that when you graduate, you'll be fully certified and experienced in up to a dozen medical aesthetic procedures, including laser hair and tattoo removal, microblading, and acne treatments. There are a bunch of other treatments included too, but for the full list, just check their website. I'll leave another link at the bottom of the page.
After you've completed the Basic course, you can begin the Advanced course right away, or come back to upgrade your education later. It uses the same online and then in-person training format, and offers certification in Body Sculpting, stem cell treatments, and other advanced procedures.
If you haven't taken the Basic course, but wish to enroll in the Advanced training - that's an option. However, without Basic certification, you would require at least 5 years of actual work experience in the industry to qualify.
But wait - there's another option too, one that's perfect for the right person, though the "right people" are pretty rare.
Do you love medical aesthetics? Are you certain this is the career path you want to follow?
If so, you can skip both the Basic and Advanced courses, and go straight to the Master level training.
It's a much more intensive course, but it allows you to optimize your training, by providing the full program in a single package. It includes all of the same training as the other options, as well as exclusive Master’s level training that isn't in any other course.
The real benefit though is that when you're done, you'll not only be certified and experienced with all the major techniques, but you'll also get a Master of Medical Aesthetics certification.
That certificate is a real rarity in this industry - because just the Basic training is enough to start a career. It could be just what you need though, to catapult your career right to the top.
My advice?
If any of this sounds interesting to you - or if you know someone else who really needs a career change, just check them out. They even have schools located all across Canada.
