Do you know that most cardiac arrests occur in a public setting and CPR can double or even triple the chances of a person surviving the incident? In fact, around 46% of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest victims survive because of a bystander knowing their CPR!
The newly updated schedule of classes considers local health guidelines to limit social gatherings. Each of the five classes has around six different time and date slots for students to choose from. All classes will require you to wear a face mask unless you have a medical reason for not being able to. To encourage social distancing, you must register online.
Richmond Training Concepts reminds you to take the class that suits your job or specific needs. As such, the company encourages you to call them beforehand before registering.
Don't know which one to take? AHA is more for instructors while ASHI is better for community volunteers.
Classes need to have at least three people attending to push through. Students who want to attend a full class may call the training center to ask for additional slots.
You must pass both the written and skills exam to graduate from any class. Once you do, you will be given a card as proof that you attended and passed the certification class. Each certification card is valid for two years. After this time, you're encouraged to renew your cards by taking the certification class once more.
