Delice & Sarrasin has been plating up seasonal, sustainably sourced, and ethically responsible plant-based cuisine that recreates the iconic flavors of classic French cooking for ten years this year. Now, as spring is in full bloom, they are pleased to be bringing you a selection of new dishes that capture the essence of the season.
The French vegan restaurant is open seven days a week for brunch, lunch and dinner and they have a new menu of appetizers, main courses, sides, and desserts you’re sure to love.
They also have a new selection of savory buckwheat galettes and sweet crepes, which are recommended for dessert or if you’re in the mood for a light ‘Le Goûter,’ as the French say, meaning afternoon tea.
The head chef at Delice & Sarrasin, Yvette Caron, has created each new dish on the menu to be a flavorful and moreish treat, and she has relished the opportunity to use seasonal organic farm-to-table produce to enrich the quality of each plate.
Sarah McLaughlin, a food critic for Veg News, one of the world’s biggest plant-based magazines, called Delice & Sarrasin’s new menu “totally packed with flavor” in a recent write-up and particularly recommended the bistro’s “just so creamy” baked macadamia-based brie, their mushroom vegan escargot and their Oeuf Meurette a la Bourguignonne—which features a vegan poached egg by Yo Egg—to start.
McLaughlin also praised their take on steak frites, boeuf bourguignon, and coq au vin for mains, and called their crepe with chocolate sauce, whipped coconut cream and orange creme brulee for dessert a must-try for a sweet treat to end your meal.
