Financial Literacy, career training and entrepreneurship courses can help young people plan for the futures, save for college, invest and make good money decisions. Any middle school or high school student looking to learn about these topics, Collegiate Preparatory International Academy provides young people aged 12 to 21 these training sessions starting this Fall. The weekly training will be held online.

For full details, interested parties are encouraged to view the website at https://www.collegiateprep.academy.

Areas of Financial Literacy for middle and high school students that will be covered include:

How to Grow Money: Financial Literacy - These weekly interactive online sessions will be focused on helping students gain an understanding of the importance of financial planning including saving for college, investing and business ventures. They will learn how money works and wealth building strategies.

Boss Up - These weekly sessions help students understand how to start and run their own virtual or brick and mortar business. Students research and launch their own business ventures. They research, write a business plan, present and work on accessing capital and obtaining investors.

Career and Technical Education Courses and Certification Programs - These self-selected courses lead to a certification program to help students become career ready from high school.

When asked about the reasons behind the decision to provide training on such an in-demand topic, Dr. Claytisha Walden, Superintendent/CEO of Collegiate Preparatory International Academy said,

"Innovative curriculum means our students should have relevant experience and content to prepare for their future. The global economy calls for young people to be ready to take on new challenges and to be equipped to create jobs and build wealth. It is about preparing the next generation for success."

All young people aged 12 to 21 can find the most up-to-date information about the training at https://www.collegiateprep.academy. Students who have specific questions about the training itself may contact Collegiate Preparatory International Academy via their website.
