The announcement comes in advance of the 2021/2022 migration season. You’ll have plenty of time to schedule your trip for December through March, which is considered the best season to witness the migration.
During the Great Migration, nearly two million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles travel in a 3000 km loop in search of grazing pastures and water in the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem in Tanzania. This amazing event occurs throughout the year, with the animals gathering in different locations depending on the season.
The Ndutu Escape Safari is a nine-day and eight-night adventure where you can witness the Great Migration in the Ndutu Plains of Southeast Serengeti. The safari also includes visits to several national parks, sites, and local villages.
In addition to exploring the Ndutu Plains and seeing the wildebeests, you will be able to visit Serengeti National Park, Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater where you can see flamingos, giraffes, baboon troops, rhinos, cheetahs, and many other wild animals.
