Open MRI (0333 335 5848) can get your MRI results in as little as 24 hours, and you don’t even need a referral from your GP. You can book an appointment online anytime, with no waiting list, or give them a call.
Did you know that it can often take up to one week or longer to get the results of an MRI, even after you've had the scan?
While this isn't always the case, and emergency patients often receive results much faster, when combined with the wait times to get an MRI scan done it can add up to a lengthy wait - and you often can't start treatment until after receiving your results.
If you, or someone you love, has been injured - you shouldn't have to wait. The Open MRI clinic serving clients near Boston, UK, has a new self-referral program that can help you to get fast results, which can take as little as 24 hours.
You can book an appointment online, right now, by visiting https://www.openmri.co.uk or give them a call at 0333 335 5848.
While diagnostic scans are known for causing a slowdown in treatment times, due to often being booked several weeks or months into the future, this new program does not use a waiting list at all. You can schedule your own appointments without a referral from your GP, and receive your results as early as the next day.
The Open MRI clinic works only with UK Certified Harley Street Specialist Musculoskeletal Consultant Radiologists and does not use reporting Radiographers. They provide the results of your scans in a Consultant Radiologist Report, and will also give you a digital copy of the images.
By partnering with MSK Doctors, a musculoskeletal specialist clinic, Open MRI can provide you with referrals at a preferred rate, as well as fast access to some of the UK’s top specialists. You can also choose to go over your results slide-by-slide, either in-person or virtually, with Open MRI’s in-house Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.
The entire process has been optimised to make your visit fast, pleasant, and easy - even if you're not sure what you need to have scanned.
The clinic offers a pre-scan consultation process with an in-house expert, to help you determine which body part, or parts, needs to be scanned. If you already have some knowledge of your injury and know which body part needs to be scanned, you can skip this step and book your appointment directly.
The clinic also offers “dynamic MRI scans,” which are not available anywhere else in the county. Sometimes called “movement” MRIs, this procedure takes up to 90 minutes per scan, but can capture images of your injured joint while it is in motion. While this type of imaging is not required for all diagnostic scans, it can help to provide more information about certain injuries.
The Open MRI website explains, “There is no need for a GP or medical consultant referral. You can easily refer yourself for an MRI scan via our online system. If you know what you want, simply tell us about which part of the body you want scanned, answer some safety questions and book online for the time and date that works for you.”
