BC native Kosi Stobbs has been recognized in Caldwell’s Canada Top 40 under 40 list. Kosi is a real estate investor and CEO of Property Owl Group of Companies.
It takes years to reach the level of success Kosi Stobbs has achieved by the young age of 40 years old. Kosi, accomplished real estate investor and CEO of the Property Owl Group of Companies, has been chosen as a 2020 honoree of Caldwell’s Canada Top 40 under 40 award. The recipients of the 40 under 40 award are each accomplished individuals who are judged on the criteria of vision and leadership, innovation and achievement, impact, community involvement and contribution, and growth and development strategies. The hope is for this list of esteemed individuals to promote professional development, mentorship and awareness to Canada’s business community and the public – as well as promote them as role models for a younger generation of entrepreneurs.
Coming from humble beginnings as a first generation Canadian with Jamaican parents, Kosi’s vision as a young boy paved his way for entrepreneurial success as an adult. From collecting pop cans from neighbors for earnings at the age of 10 to serving fast food throughout his teenage years to put himself through school, Kosi has always recognized the value and return of hard work. After graduation from university with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he made his first real estate investment purchase at the age of 22.
Kosi’s interest in business and investment as well as his engineering experience eventually led to his development of the Property Owl Group of Companies. Property Owl is a diversified portfolio of manufacturing and operations companies that Stobbs has acquired and created long term growth opportunities for. Management turns over ownership of the company to Kosi and his team, and an emphasis is put on maintaining the company culture while also bracing the amount of change that is required for the company to realistically grow and prosper.
Kosi has most recently released a book, F$CK BROKE: Let’s Get Rich, to share his own experiences.
