The Barcelona Ballroom provides 12,000 square feet of floor space, capable of hosting 200 to 615 guests in a banquet-style arrangement. The recent Sorority celebration used this space to entertain 600 guests for the evening reception. The smaller Madrid Ballroom was used to sell the Chapter's merchandise while the Seville accommodated 400 people for the induction ceremony. This variety of rooms makes Meridian a unique proposition for special events with connected venues that can help your celebrations run smoothly.
The main hallway of the center - dressed in elegant red carpet – was used to welcome guests to the event with a photo booth placed at the end in front of a custom-made backdrop. The center also sources and supplies audio and video equipment which the Sorority made use of, with the Meridian team setting up and tearing down all of the necessary apparatus for the day. Other services provided included stage decorations, up-lighting, both long and round tables as well as all of the linens. Gold Chivari chairs were also provided for the event.
Meridian has an open vendor policy, allowing you to invite your preferred caterers and entertainment, but the team can give you a list of recommended providers if needed. Each ballroom has a dedicated prep kitchen complete with a fridge-freezer and a microwave. Most ballrooms also have private restrooms and dressing rooms so you can be assured of a space to relax and escape from the party when needed.
