Niche fragrance brand Commodity announces the second season of its mini-docuseries which details the future of its brand image.

Commodity, one of the first direct-to-consumer fragrance company, announces that the second season of its mini-docuseries on its journey towards rebuilding its brand which will be re-launched in September. The minimalist perfume business shuttered in 2019, was repurchased by the owner of Europerfumes, Vicken Arslanian, and is now working towards revitalizing its image while maintaining its flagship scents.

The second season continues the journey of Commodity in developing premium yet accessible fragrances without an overpowering scent. The brand began its story back in 2013 and intended to develop 20 high-quality perfumes in collaboration with some of the world’s most respected artisans and empowered you to try their scents before you buy.
This unique business model propelled the company into the spotlight. Nevertheless, it announced that it was shuttered in early 2019, to the shock of many fans. Vicken Arslanian decided to purchase the brand to maintain Commodity’s one-of-a-kind fragrances.
Arslanian, who calls himself the brand’s “Re-Founder”, decided that a way to reboot the company’s image was to be transparent to the fans of Commodity. He decided to release a behind-the-scenes docuseries on the entire relaunch journey of the fragrance brand. Each episode is around two to 10 minutes long and openly talks about the different challenges and opportunities Arslanian experienced in reimagining the company as an affordable premium niche fragrance brand.
One of its most popular episodes is episode five called “The Chopping Block”. Here, the team was deciding which scents to maintain in its line-up and which to scrap.
Season two offers glimpses into the company's future with a chance for fans to give their feedback and leave their mark.
