The product is for grandparents, aunts, uncles, and even long-distance parents who want to share special moments with a child but can’t be together in person. The product is a quarterly subscription box providing up to 10 hours of interactive play activities via Zoom or Facetime.

This week Rent-A-Theme Entertainment, Inc., an interactive toy rental company in Colorado, launched a new subscription box product designed to help adults and children stay connected via teleconferencing software like Zoom or Facetime. The product is for grandparents, aunts, uncles, and even long-distance parents who want to share special moments with a child but can’t be together in person.
Four times per year you and the child in your life will receive a matching Let’s Play package in the mail. Using Zoom or Facetime you’ll start a call with your play partner. Each package has a fun theme like superheroes, the ocean, space, art and more. Each theme includes engaging age-appropriate books, props, crafts, activities, and games. Easy-to-follow instructions, conversation starters, supplies and tips are included to ensure you and your child talk, laugh, and have a great time together.
Rent-A-Theme Entertainment owner Tonya Milligan said, "We created Let's Play packages to address the isolation felt by seniors who, during Covid-19, have not been able to visit with their grandchildren. But teachers who have heard about it have also embraced it to connect with their students. Let's Play packages are intended for children ages 4 to 7 and 8 to 12. In addition to being fun, the activities are STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) based and designed to encourage child development.
