This is the fourth book Stan Fidel has authored. The book was written with the aim in mind to help salespeople earn what they are worth and be more persuasive without being pushy. There's also particular excitement about this launch because it reveals the author's best sales training secrets and is the most complete sales system to become highly persuasive.
Stan Fidel has a background in sales, marketing, business and public speaking that goes back 45 years. He started his telemarketing services and consulting business 39 years ago. Running a successful telemarketing company helped shape the creation of this sales training book and what he learned in the sales trenches from clients and his own personal and professional sales training development are all detailed.
When asked about why he wrote the book, Fidel said: “I discovered early on that salespeople talk too much and don't listen enough, therefore they struggle to be successful and don't help their clients get what they really need” and it's Stan's mission to change this dynamic.
Fidel has hopes that the book will help literally anyone (mom's, teachers, co-workers, anyone) who wants to be a better communicator make communication of all kinds more effective and less adversarial. This positive outlook from the author is certainly a testament to his optimism considering some of the mishaps during its creation. At one point we had the book ready ... then after additional field testing we discovered 2 missing chapters (missing sales training secrets) that are most applicable to selling and communicating in today's world.
In a recent interview, the author made a point of saying “Thanks to my predecessors and mentors J. Douglas Edwards, David Sandler, Brian Tracy, Kenrick Cleveland, Dan Sullivan; my clients Marvin Feldman, Bill MacDonald, Victor Iannelli and friends Moe Abdou from whom I learned the science of selling, so I could practice it as an art”. also for their part in the creation of the book, “Thanks to my wife Bela Fidel, my sister Elaine Fidel and my nephews Tom and Steve Alper for their continuous support.”
