Are you ready for a new career, but having trouble getting the training without quitting your current job? Check out the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (306-559-2410) to find out how you can become a certified aesthetician by training after-hours or on weekends.
Nobody should ever have to choose between paying the bills and raising the kids, or getting trained in a new career - but unfortunately, that's the world we seem to live in.
Or at least it was, but, well... things are a little different now.
If that's a problem you've been facing, then sit down, buckle up, and get ready - because this could be the first day of your new life, with a new career.
Or, well, the first day of your training anyways... Look, why don't I just stop trying to be witty, and tell you about it? That's a good idea, we'll do that.
The TL;DR, or "Too Long, Didn't Read" is simple:
There's an easy new way to get trained in a new career, without having to quit your current job. You won't need to hire a babysitter for months and months of classes or miss out on whatever other commitments you've already got.
It's all thanks to the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy and their cool new hybrid training program.
If this is already too long and you don't want to read it - I totally understand. You're busy, and I'm taking up your time, just visit their website to get all the details, whenever you have time. Here's the link you'll need, https://dermysk.com/pages/academy - and you can get more information about individual courses by clicking "Full Course Directory" at the bottom of the page.
Now, where was I?
Oh yeah, their hybrid training program. It's what I imagine you would end up with if you asked students what the best way to learn is, and then made it happen. What a novel idea.
Here's how it all works, in a nutshell.
Step 1. Apply for classes
Step 2. Learn online, any time.
Step 3. Schedule practical training.
Step 4. One week of in-person classes.
Step 5. Get a job, or start a business, and enjoy your new career.
Don't worry, I'll break this down a little further, but that's basically it. They let you learn as fast or as slow as you need, and they don't care if you're doing the online classes at night, in the morning, from home, or from Bangladesh.
However, to be clear, you will need to attend at least one week, in person, at their Academy. This is the best part of the whole training program though, where you get to work with real medical aesthetic tools, fixing real problems, for real people.
Of course, there's also going to be some "simulated clients" and "training exercises" - but trust me, they're pretty fun too.
You can do the practical training anytime after you're done with the online modules - just by scheduling a time at any of the four Dermysk Academy locations across Canada.
At the end of the training, you will be fully certified to either work in a medical aesthetic clinic or open your own business. However, they don't just throw you to the wolves, so to speak - instead, they have a whole after-graduate support program to help you out.
Not that you'll really need it, these courses are quite thorough and cover literally everything you need to know. They even teach you about the legal and regulatory considerations and industry-specific business strategies, in case you decide to open your own clinic or work from home.
In the Basic course you'll learn more than enough to get you started, and you'll get certified in around a dozen of the most popular procedures. You can find the full list on their website, but it includes all the stuff you might expect, like acne treatments, laser hair and tattoo removal, microblading, dermaplaning, and more.
What if the Basic course isn't enough though? Then just go back, any time, and enroll in the Advanced course. Honestly, this is where you learn the coolest procedures, in my opinion.
How cool? How about Cool Sculpting cool?
If you don't know what that is, it's a way to selectively remove body fat from a client using nothing but cold temperatures - and believe me, it doesn't get much cooler than that. You can literally sculpt their bodies to give them whatever their idea of the "perfect figure" is.
It sounds like a lot of fun, right? Well, you're not the only person who thinks so.
When I started writing this, I thought I had better check out the Dermysk Academy's reviews online - because what if I had an awesome experience, but most other people didn't?
I didn't want to recommend anything that wasn't top-notch - so I took a quick look, and... how about I just share one with you at random?
One recent graduate said, “I took this course while still working full-time as an LPN. The hours were extremely flexible, and the workload was manageable. The instructors were knowledgeable and approachable, always reaching out to make sure I was comfortable and confident in my understanding of everything. The practicum in Regina was better than I ever could have imagined. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone.”
Now I'm wondering why I bothered writing this article when that review practically covers everything in a few sentences...
Well I did write it, and you read it - so we might as well move on to the next step now.
I hope that your next step is checking out their website, to see if being a medical aesthetician is in your future.
Maybe you can come back and tell me later - but first, get all the details from https://dermysk.com/pages/academy
