The Floki Inu community is comprised of over 15,000 members and the focus is on philanthropic giving for charity. Through a partnership with the Million Garden Movement, Kimball and Maye Musk, brother and mother of Elon are supported by the Floki community.
“The Shiba Inu will be named Floki”... A simple tweet set forth a fire storm of growth in an online CryptoCurrency Community. Elon Musk, a cult hero in the Crypto space known for his tweets that influences growth across any coin he promotes, spurred the creation of the Floki Inu community.
The community based around the tweet which Musk stated he would name his Shiba Inu puppy Floki, has taken on a life of its own. Although the premise is around investing on both the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain $FLOKI, the community has taken on a life of its own.
Tweets from Elon Musk about Dogecoin and the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency have resulted in the price of both increasing by over 1,000x. Many are expecting similar gains from Floki Inu, which seems to be the eccentric billionaire’s latest fancy.
At over 15,000 members and counting, the community has turned its focus on philanthropy and giving back to the family of the man who has already given them so much. Through a partnership with the Million Garden Movement, charity of Kimball and Maye Musk, brother and mother of Elon. The Floki Inu community hopes to create an impact far outside of the online community itself.
With a reach all around the world, their goal is to spread the movement to the farthest reaches of the planet. Having already raised over $11,000 in just over a month, the community aims to not only give 1% of it’s monthly marketing budget each month, they also aim to organize in person community events in their respective communities.
Currently in talks with the Million Garden Movement to create an official and lasting partnership. The goal is to become something far greater than just an online community centered around a viral tweet. When asked to comment, Director of Marketing for $FLOKI, Kyle Klemmer, stated “That’s how these things start, people come together with a common bond. In this case a tweet made by Elon, they then quickly realize that together they can create an impact far outside of themselves. That’s what is being created here, a group of people wanting to contribute more than just money to the Million Gardens Movement.”
As the community continues to grow and the fabled story of their online community continues to grow as well. It’s the hope of everyone involved in the project that they too can be a beacon of growth for the Million Garden Movement.
