Start training for your new career today, at the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (587-487-1249), and in just a few months you could be a certified aesthetician at a local clinic, or you could even open your own business. It’s easier than you think.
Recently one of my friends decided she was done with the corporate world.
The whole thing, she just up and quit the whole rat race, to follow her dreams and become a sculptor.
I heard she's making six figures already...
Actually, the joke is a little bit less funny than it should be, because she's not actually making much money - and I think it's because she went into the wrong kind of sculpting.
Instead of sculpting people, maybe she should try sculpting people...
Okay, that doesn't sound quite right either, but let me explain because I really do have a point, I promise.
It's all about Cool Sculpting, which is in my opinion, the coolest kind of sculpting there is because you're not sculpting people, you're sculpting people...
Wow, that just doesn't sound right now matter how I try to say it.
The point is that if you want to quit your day job and start your dream career, you definitely should. Just make sure that you do it realistically, by getting the training you need, for a profitable and growing industry.
If you're into sculpting people... by which I mean, helping actual flesh and blood people to non-invasively reshape their bodies, then the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy is practically screaming your name. They can help you to get fully certified in no time, and it's easy.
It's because they use a unique blend of in-person and online classes, so you can do all the book stuff online, and then show up at their school for the hands-on training. Don't take my word for it though, check them out at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy to find the school nearest to you, or to see everything they can help you to get certified for.
Normally, I wouldn't suggest online courses, but these classes are great. They learned a ton of things about how to optimize online training from the recent lockdowns, and they're paired with real practical training, using actual aesthetician tools.
Besides, by working at your own pace, you can take as long as you need to complete your training, or you can dedicate some time to it every day, and complete it all in just a couple of months. The choice is entirely yours.
In the Basic course, which you can enroll in with only a high school diploma, you will learn about the science and biology behind popular procedures and the legal or regulatory considerations for your province. Then you'll receive practical training using a wide variety of aesthetician tools, so that you're confident, experienced, and ready to begin a new career after you graduate.
After completing the Basic training program, you will be fully certified in up to a dozen techniques, including laser hair and tattoo removal, photorejuvenation, pigmentation treatments, chemical peels, and a variety of advanced acne treatments. There are a handful of other procedures included too, but it's just too many to list. To see them all, just visit their website at the links I shared.
Here's the cool part - when you graduate from the Basic course, you're done. That's it, in just a few months.
You can go get a job at a medical aesthetic clinic, and your new career will be awesome. You'll get to help people look and feel better, and feel better about how they look - using some super cool tools and techniques.
Or, hear me out - you could go back for more training.
In the Advanced course, which requires either graduation from the Basic program or 5 years of industry experience, you will be trained and certified in more complex procedures such as Cool Sculpting and stem cell treatments. This course also includes additional training for dealing with difficult customers, managing complications, and a variety of proven business strategies - but the most important part is the high-level help you'll be able to provide.
With stem cells and PRP (platelet-rich plasma), you can help people to overcome a huge range of problems, and the field is still growing - but that's not even my favourite part. The best part is Cool Sculpting, which I'm sure you've heard of before. It literally allows you to selectively reshape your client's body, by non-invasively reducing fat deposits in certain hand-selected areas.
It's like sculpting, but your focus isn't rock or clay, it's a living, breathing, human - and you're helping them to look and feel their best.
If that sounds like the future you want - let me offer one last piece of advice before you go.
If you're looking for a job, take the Basic course, and get started right away.
If you're looking for a career, plan to take both courses, Basic and Advanced, though it's cool if you work a year or three in between.
However, if you're looking to change your life for good, and this career is your goal in life, skip the introductory stuff. Don't take the Basic course, or the Advanced one.
Skip directly to the Master level course, which includes all the training included in the Basic and Advanced programs, as well as exclusive materials not found elsewhere. I know, it seems like you should have to do Basic, then Advanced, then Master - but not at the Dermysk Academy.
This course allows you to receive a Master Of Medical Aesthetics certification, which is a real rarity in this industry. It still uses the same mostly online learning format, followed by a couple of weeks of intensive hands-on training at their nearest Academy, after which you'll be certified in pretty much every medical aesthetic procedure you can be - except the few which are only open to registered doctors and nurses.
Of course, the Dermysk Academy teaches those procedures too, if you have the prerequisites.
Check it out for yourself. You can find the full list of courses, certifications, and everything else you need to know, at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy
