The newly launched program is part of the state’s commitment to increasing access to community-centered care options. The number of seniors with health issues, dementia or Alzheimer's is growing, and more home-based care is required throughout the area.
Family caregivers will be able to get specialized training to help them provide the highest levels of care for their loved ones. The program is designed to offer financial and support services to Georgia families delivering home care to a senior or disabled person.
There are a number of benefits for you when you sign up for the program. You receive weekly compensation, and get direct access to professional health coaching and guidance from trained HomeNurse SFC staff.
Services that can be provided by an SFC caregiver include housekeeping, bathing, meal preparation, eating, dressing, personal hygiene, managing appointments, and other tasks that improve quality of life.
In order to qualify as an SFC caregiver, specific requirements need to be met. These include living in the same home as the person receiving care, and being at least 18 years old.
Additionally, you need to be related biologically or through marriage. Finally, the person being cared for needs to be Georgia Medicaid-eligible.

They have a highly trained team who strive to provide patients with the highest level of care and attention. This enables patients to maintain their dignity while ensuring families get peace of mind.
