Why did the hipster burn his lips on coffee? He drank it before it was cool! Good thing you only care about taste! Make sure your morning brew is bursting with flavors – freshly roasted beans delivered straight to your door by Boss Brew Coffee!
Tanzania is smack in the middle of coffee paradise, with Kenya next door and Ethiopia the next house down. But coffee wasn’t produced for commercial purposes there until the end of the 19th century when the colonizers egged them on. Instead, the coffee was just chewed like a fruit!
Luckily for you, locals soon realized that everyone else was crazy about the roasted and brewed thing, and now they produce lots of it!
Boss Brew Coffee has updated its range of premium roasts with the introduction of a Tanzanian medium-light coffee with a strawberry, pear, flowery, jasmine flavor profile. This roast carries the distinctive Bourbon & Kent taste - known for balanced acidity and bitterness and its pleasing floral aroma.

The coffee product e-retailer now offers this Tanzanian, AB-certified roast, sourced from small cooperative farmers in the Mbeya area. Grown at 1200-1900 meters in clay soil, the beans are fully washed and then dried on raised "African beds" (so-called because they originated on the continent) for natural processing. Boss Brew does not roast the coffee until your order is placed - ensuring maximum freshness.
Some of the world’s best Arabica coffee is produced in Tanzania, the third-largest producer of coffee in Africa. All of the country’s arabica coffee products are classified as Strictly High Grown (SHG)—also known as Strictly Hard Bean (SHB)—which needs greater elevation for growing than Robusta coffee (1,400 to 2,000 meters above sea level). Tanzanian beans function especially well in darker roasts, unlike other premium coffees. The country’s most commonly cultivated varietals include Bourbon, Typica/Nyara, Blue Mountain, and Kent.
Boss Brew Coffee currently features 43 varieties of roasts, from Ethiopian Sidama heirloom to Indonesian Bali Blue, as well as specialty and seasonal blends. The company’s small batch Tanzanian, with its silky texture, has already won over one customer who said: “We tried the Tanzania beans, and they made both great lattes and Aeropress drinks. We tend to like African coffees, and this one didn’t disappoint.”
The company also sells state-of-the-art coffee equipment and a collection of distinctive mug and flask coffee accessories. For example, a large Japanese-style kiln-baked coffee mug, a portable vacuum flask travel thermos, and a retro coffee mug warmer are among the twenty products available.
One customer commented: “Received my first order yesterday. Very impressed with the coffee quality and customer service. My order was perfectly packaged and arrived earlier than anticipated. Will reorder. Hoping there is a subscription option for regular delivery.”
