Sarah James has been photographing street art murals for 25 years and constantly adds more of her favorite work to the collection. In the line, you a find a range of styles and objects portrayed in authentic NYC graffiti spirit, many with distinctive alterations that add to their novelty.
Sarah found the new print of Saraswati on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. It's a highly detailed portrait of the four-handed goddess sitting on a throne, playing guitar. Saraswati is known as the Hindu goddess of creativity, intellect, and the power of speech, making the T-shirt a perfect gift for creatives, students, and art lovers.
The urban art culture had a revival in recent years thanks to the internationally acclaimed artist Banksy's work. "I am excited to release this new series of NYC street art and graffiti photographs on 100% cotton T-shirts that are easy to care for, really comfortable, and fun to wear," Sarah said. "I find many of my images downtown in the Lower East Side, So Ho, No Ho, and Chinatown. It seems that these locations have a vibe that allows the creator to work undisturbed."
