Delice & Sarrasin is now serving a more extensive selection of their popular savory crepes and galettes, using 100% plant-based ingredients to reimagine classic French flavor combinations and dishes.
The head chef at the plant-based creperie, Yvette Caron, a native of the South of France, is pleased to be bringing you more light, smooth and airy French style crepes and galettes that use healthy and flavorful buckwheat—the ‘sarrasin’ in Delice & Sarrasin’s name—as their base.
New gourmet savory flavor combinations you’re sure to love include their moreish Mr Seguin, which comes with in-house vegan ‘goat’ cheese, grilled ‘chicken’, agave, walnuts, and coconut Emmental cheese. You also have to try their Mr Rabelais, which takes its inspiration from the iconic traditional Toulouse ‘sausage’, making a unique vegan version complemented by genuine Parisian mushrooms, mustard cream and coconut Emmental cheese.
If you’ve got more of a sweet tooth or are just in the mood to indulge, Delice & Sarrasin has also added to their selection of sweet crepes, which are perfect for a post-lunch or dinner dessert, or as a meal in their own right. Indulgent flavors you can choose from include their La Suzette, which is a unique flambe crepe cooked in orange liquor, lemon and cashew butter, and their La Bordelaise, which comes with a generous helping of salted caramel, roasted apple and vegan vanilla ice cream.

Delice & Sarrasin is a family-owned and run restaurant that is committed to serving authentic French crepes and galettes that are completely cruelty-free.
“This 24-seat, chandelier-ornamented boutique cafe, is a brick-and-mortar love letter to the Caron family’s treasured childhood dish,” said a recent review by TimeOut. “Here, the family folds paper-thin sheets of white flour and Brittany-sourced buckwheat on an imported Krampouz plate, yielding airy crepes, as well as their savory cousins, the galette. Vegan fillings like house-made salted caramel and gingerbread nestle in the sweet roll-ups, while the latter comes in varieties like the Mr Petrossian, with vegan smoked salmon enveloped in avocado puree.”
Delice & Sarrasin is located at 178 West Houston Street in Greenwich Village and they are open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. If you’d like to secure a table, it is best to book ahead.
