Program creator utilizes a scientific, brain-based methodology to help participants cultivate a maintainable fitness regime. “It’s not about how hard you can go, nor about the calories burned or the KG’s lifted, it is about a sustainable and smart way of doing things to ensure your ongoing health and fitness in the long-term,” said PrimalThenics.

The training starts with an introduction to neurological techniques designed to improve communication between your brain and joints. These are followed by mobility drills to identify restrictions and increase range of motion. Squat and push-up positions and crawling exercises are used to improve muscular imbalances and build strength, stamina, and coordination. Strengthening exercises to target underworking muscles such as the glutes and core are included to improve postural stability.

PrimalThenics’ studio program includes 3 weekly group classes and Saturday all-in team sessions in a supportive and friendly environment. Members also have access to the Newmarket swimming pool and gym and a 10-degree ice pool at Ascot Aquatics Centre.
