Are you looking for an awesome new career, where you can work from home? The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (844-337-6975) can get you fully certified in up to a dozen popular medspa procedures, including IPL hair and tattoo removal, without even quitting your day job.
Do you know what the best part is about working from home?
I rolled out of bed about 2 minutes ago, in my pyjamas, and I'm already at work.
I would tell my boss exactly what I think of their "work hours" and "dress codes" too - but I'm the boss, and telling myself how it is in the mirror got boring after the first couple of days.
Besides - there's far too much work to be done, and I want to write this blog first.
Why would I care about writing a blog before I even get started at work? That's a good question, and it's because I want other people to know how amazing it can be to work for yourself, by yourself, on your own terms.
If you're already sick of my blah blah blah, first, rude. Second, I guess that's fine - why don't you just skip ahead to the training resource I want to talk about and get your facts right from the source? The URL is https://academy.dermysk.com/
Maybe you've heard of the Dermysk Academy before?
They're pretty well known, at least in the medspa industry - and they do one thing differently from everyone else I've seen. They train people in a whole new way, that's more convenient, more effective, and gives you a more realistic look into medspa careers.
The part I'm excited about, personally, is how they split the courses into two sections.
If you know me, and I assume you do if you're reading my blog, then you know that I love to stay at home when I can. Well, these courses let me learn from home, without cutting back on what they teach or preventing me from getting real-world experience. It's really a "best of both worlds" thing.
How does that work?
It's surprisingly simple, when you enroll in the Basic course, you get instant access to 7 online training modules, which can be completed entirely at your convenience. There's no time limit, no class hours, and no hassle - you just work on them, online, whenever you can.
These modules explain the history of the medspa industry, the science behind popular treatments, and the legal requirements for working in a medspa or running a home clinic. They're actually pretty interesting if you want to know about your new career before you get started.
For example, they'll explain exactly how laser hair removal works, so that you'll know why each technique works, how, and how to explain it to your clients.
Now, obviously, getting only online training wouldn't be the best idea - not for a physical job like this. They've got that covered though.
After you complete all the online training, you'll get real-world experience at one of their schools, which is built right next to their clinics. It's a neat idea that lets you rub shoulders with medspa workers who have already completed the training and made this their career - and it gives you easy access to real clients for your training.
All in all, it usually takes about 8 weeks to complete the Basic training, and that's enough to get you started working in a local clinic, or you can open a home spa. Of course, you can take as long as you need, or rush through at top speed if you have the time and dedication - 8 weeks is only an estimate.
The Basic course includes certification for about a dozen popular procedures, like IPL hair and tattoo removal, derma-planing, micro-blading, and fractional ablation. To see the full list, just check out their website - I left a link up top, and I'll drop another one at the bottom.
Now here's where it gets really neat - they also teach the really complex techniques, like body sculpting, laser gynecology, and stem cell treatments, but not in the Basic course, obviously.
If you want to learn those techniques, you have 2 options, you can either start off by enrolling in the Master program, which covers everything they teach, including exclusive lessons they don't offer in other classes, or you can start with the Basic training, then the Advanced course.
I don't know which of those is the best yet, because I'm not there yet - but when I am, I'll be sure to write an update.
Until then, you'll have to decide for yourself. Just don't forget to drop me a line and let me know how it goes if you decide that a medspa career is just what you're looking for.
