NY law firm Gersowitz Libo & Korek has sponsored the second annual Gardiner Memorial Basketball Clinic in the Bronx. It will allow children between seven and 15 to get coaching from former NBA and NCAA players and coaches.
The second annual Gardiner Memorial Basketball Clinic in the Bronx has been announced, sponsored by the New York law firm Gersowitz Libo & Korek. It will be held on June 24, 2017 at St James Park at 193rd St and Jerome Ave in the Bronx. Registration begins at 10 AM and the event itself is set to finish at 16:00 PM.

The clinic is free and is open for children aged between seven to 15 years old, with the first 150 kids to sign up on the day receiving a free T-shirt. When they arrive at the event, they will find a number of different volunteers and coaches on hand, including former NBA and NCAA Division I players.
Both the players and coaches will be able to teach the community youth high level skills to improve their game. In addition to this, it makes for a safe haven for all the children involved for the duration of the event.
The Gardiner Foundation was created in 2006 by Dexter Gardiner, to remember the six family members who lost their lives on the Bronx River Parkway.
The foundation offers a variety of support for community members experiencing social and financial difficulties, including financial support, college scholarships, computers and school supplies for areas that need them.
