Irving health insurance uninsured rates have hit a record-low of 8% according to a recent report from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, which used an analysis of household survey data showing that 5.2 million additional people have signed up for the Affordable Care Act since 2020. This includes roughly one million children who were previously uninsured or underinsured alongside their parents. But what many don’t realize is that the 8% still equates to roughly 26 million people across the nation who still don’t have health coverage.
