Data loss is still a big issue. Even with more reliable solid-state storage devices and easier backup options data is lost from thousands of devices every year. Early recognition of imminent SSD failure can go a long way to reducing the data loss. Dublin Data Recovery company DataRescue has released a free booklet advising how to recognise these signs and take action to save your information.
Every year thousands of people lose precious memories when their electronic storage systems fail. Because these failures can happen gradually it is important to recognise the signs that a system is failing. To help users recognise these signs DataRescue, a specialist Data Recovery company in Dublin, Ireland have published a new information book to help people identify when their data is at risk.
Titled "5 Warning Signs That Your SSD Is About To Destroy Your Data" the report is available for free from their website http://www.datarescue.ie/data-recovery-dublin
In the last 2 to 3 years Solid State Drives or SSD's have become the standard storage systems in computers of all types, replacing the hard drives which had been standard for a decade or more. These new devices are essentially memory chips and have no moving parts.
"Modern storage is much more reliable than the hard drives of just a few years ago," according to DataRescue founder John O'Shea. "However the way in which they fail can be more insidious and data is often at risk without the user being aware. We see cases on a daily basis where a little early warning would have allowed the user to take action and protect their.data. By publishing this booklet we hope to save both individuals memories and businesses documents."
DataRescue is one of Irelands longest-established Data Recovery firms and has been recovering data since 1996. Over that time they have recovered data from tens of thousands of crashed and corrupted storage systems. They have worked on personal drives to recover precious pictures and on corporate systems to restore critical business data.
The company operates from state-of-the-art cleanroom facilities in Dublin.
"We have an industry-leading 98% success rate in recovering data," said John."But in almost all cases where we have been unable to recover the data it has been because early signs were not noticed and customers continued to use their systems. Sending the system for repair earlier would have enabled us to recover the data. With this book we hope to enable people to take the necessary steps earlier and raise our overall data recovery rate even further."
The booklet is now available and can be downloaded for free from the DataRescue website.
