Award winning Irish psychologist and hypnotist Jason O’Callaghan has brought back a rare and shocking form of hypnosis 120 years since it was last performed in the Victorian era. Jason discovered the 18th century method in an ancient book while studying for his Masters and, after ten years of research, is one of the only psychologists in world to perform this method.

Previously Jason was a journalist and he co-founded ShowBiz Ireland.com, the first online entertainment site in Ireland and followed that up with becoming an entertainment editor to Ireland’s biggest magazines. Jason wrote the bestselling book ‘Confessions of a Gossip Columnist’ and has released two albums, the second with Westlife star Brian McFadden. After three years performing at over 100 events a year Jason wanted to reconnect with the passion that drove him to change his life, and he returned to college to study the secrets of the mind. Recently Jason was named on the college roll of honour for his research into the effects of hypnosis on cancer patients to help them reduce stress and anxiety. During this time, he also trained in clinical hypnotherapy, CBT and Counseling, and volunteered for over four years in the mental health sector to better understand the workings of the human mind.
