The wine varieties to be showcased at Christini's Ristorante Italiano’s event are 2020 Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru, 2020 Echezeaux, and 2020 Romanée-St-Vivant. Each boasting a distinctive character, the fine wines are made from Pinot Noir grapes that require meticulous canopy management for optimal growth.
The DRC is the only estate in Burgundy to solely produce wine from Grand Cru vineyards - the highest classification within the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) standards for wine production in France. Utilizing traditional methods and maturation processes in 100% new oak barrels, the winery’s results are exceptionally high and consistent. Since only 6,000 - 8,000 cases are manufactured per year, the DRC's produce is highly coveted.
