A Bit About Muay Thai
With this course in authentic Muay Thai training, TAMA Martial Arts is carrying on a tradition that goes back over 2000 years.
First practiced by Thai fighters against the invading Burmese army in 300 BC, Thai boxing is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins, for which it has gained the name “the art of eight limbs”.

TAMA Martial Arts & Muay Thai Course
TAMA Martial Arts was founded by Grandmaster Manuel R. Taningco in 1976, to share his unique mix of MMA training. This Muay Thai training course is available for new beginners and separate classes for students of intermediate levels and advanced!
A high-impact class, it is open to those who want to train for competition as well as those in pursuit of superior health and conditioning. The curriculum will teach you all the striking techniques, clinch maneuvers, throws, sweeps, and trips, as well as strategies for offense and defense.
Muay Thai classes take place six times a week, for an hour and a half. For the first two classes, beginners are trained in the fundamentals, before advancing to the group instruction. Almost all Muay Thai techniques use the entire body, making it an effective general conditioning exercise to get you into the shape you desire.
