What was it like working for legends Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz during the golden age of television? "The Kids of Desilu Studios,” child stars who worked for the couple's studio during the golden age of Hollywood, will share memories of their glory days, what Luch and Desi were really like and what they are up to now during a one-night-only dinner/show on Sunday, September 8 at the Indian Wells Resort Hotel, the luxury overnight retreat that was designed and built by the king and queen of comedy back in 1957. A portion of ticket proceeds are being donated to Caterina's Club, a nonprofit that has been serving some 5,000 meals nightly to hungry children in Southern California since 2005.

The exclusive event starts with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m. followed by dinner and other festivities. Among the former child stars on hand will be Keith Thibodeaux who played Little Ricky in “I Love Lucy,” Larry “Ritchie Petrie” Mathews from “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” Stan Livingston who starred as Chip Douglas on “My Three Sons” and Jon Provost, better known as Timmy on “Lassie.” They will share behind-the-scenes anecdotes from their acting days and updates of what they are doing today. Among the evening’s highlights will be a Q&A session, trivia contest, silent auction and photo ops with celebs.

Tickets are $275-$375 each and include the reception followed by dinner seated with one of the former child stars. A limited number of two-for-one general admission tickets also will be available but do not include dinner with one of the celebs. In addition, the Indian Wells Resort Hotel has reserved a block of rooms exclusively for those attending the event with special room rates and other amenities sold separately.

The event is being produced by Nite of Dreams. For more information, contact carolyn@niteofdreams. com or call 949-439-9504 For more information about Caterina's Club, visit caterinasclub.org.
