Perhaps the most notable event on this leg of the tour will take place in Beaufort, at which time Kristy Harvey will join fellow author and preservationist Deborah Goodrich-Royce for a literary discussion. The pair will explore Harvey’s influences and the ways in which the culture and history of North Carolina shaped Harvey’s work in the Southern fiction genre. Gourmet catering will also be available at this event, with associated costs included in the price of the ticket. All proceeds will benefit the Beaufort Historical Site and the local historical preservation society.
Earlier in the tour, on July 15th, Harvey will continue her tradition of returning to her hometown of Salisbury to celebrate the launch of this latest book. As she has done for all her recent launches, Harvey will appear at the South Main Book Company to sign copies of her work and interact with fans.
