This recent announcement adds another in a long list of awards granted to Harvey for her work in the Southern Fiction genre and beyond. The book was previously featured on the NYT bestsellers list for July, joining many of Harvey’s other novels to have that distinction.
Speaking on the decision, a Good Morning America representative stated, “Three long-term friends in a small Southern town guide each other through romantic troubles while contemplating the future of the beloved camp where they spent their childhood summers together. As this blurb details, the new novel follows the exploits of June Moore, owner of a North Carolina summer camp, along with three women who spent time at the camp as children. As the future of the camp is called into question, the trio must put aside their recent differences to save the foundation of their bond.
The novel is Harvey’s tenth major publication, and follows the acclaimed title 'The Wedding Veil'.
