‘Dom’, the mainstay character of ‘Fast & Furious’, lives his life ‘a quarter a mile at a time’. We call it ‘Quarter Mile Addiction’, and the maker of premium T-shirts, by the same name would love to see Vin Diesel sport their tribute to the Dodge Charger, and four other members of this gang, featuring the logo, ‘The Legends of 1968’. More information about the new Mopar t shirt release can be found here https://www.quarter-mile-addiction.com/first-muscle-car-legend-series
1968 is just two years earlier than the 1970 Dodge Charger driven by Dominic, a gift from his father. We know from the first edition of ‘Fast & Furious’ that he and his father had built the Charger with a 900hp engine, though he never got to drive it. In his own words, it “scared the (you know what) out of him”. He ends up drag racing undercover LAPD officer Brian, with the car getting totaled. In ‘Tokyo Drift’, Dom has a Plymouth Road Runner in a cameo.
The new Quarter Mile Addiction T-shirt is a tribute to five legendary Dodge and Plymouth cars that refuse to fade away from memory - the 68 Super Stock Barracuda, Plymouth Roadrunner, Dodge Coronet/Superbee, Dodge Charger and the 68 Super Stock Dodg Dart. There is no doubt Dom will love each one of these beasts, for they too go by playing life the rough, yet disciplined way. No church, no barbeque, as his father would often say.
Drag racers have everything going on for them this year, with four great events lined up - the Mopar Nationals, Mopar Fest, Carlisle Chrysler Nationals and the NHRA US Nationals. To make things even more special, Quarter Mile Addiction has brought out a new series of merchandise, including T-shirts for men and women, hoodies, posters, wall papers and mobile phone covers.
With the new Quarter Mile Addiction merchandise, take your raw energy wherever you go, because as Dom said, nothing else matters, not the mortgage… for those 10 seconds, he is free.
