The event aims to grow the skills of writers by allowing them to pitch their manuscripts during one-on-one appointments with agents and editors of publishing agencies. You’re invited to attend a six-hour online training program on the 19th of May, presented by the winner of the International Thriller Writers Award James Scott Bell.
With the help of mentors and experts in the field, writing workshops hone the skills of aspiring writers. It gives them the chance to meet people with common interests and widen their social network. It can also improve their critical thinking skills and decision-making process.
The NCWA Renewal Conference features several renowned authors, including James Scott Bell, Steven James, Melanie Dobson, Ginny Yttrup, Karen Ball, and Nick Harrison. By attending the event in-person, authors can enjoy a banquet meal, book signing event, and dessert reception on Friday night.

Due to the need to give the caterer an accurate count for the banquet, the host cannot accept onsite registration for the event.
