Raul's extensive nursing career exposed him to intense, emotional, and even supernatural experiences while working bedside as a critical care nurse.

At one point, the book was completed and being translated into Spanish when the world came to a halt due to the Covid pandemic. Raul had to step away from working on the book to join the front lines in battling the life-taking pandemic. It wasn't until 2023 that Raul could revisit the translation and launch of this book.
In a recent interview, the author took a moment to express gratitude to his wife, Betty Meza, for her integral role in the creation of the book, saying: "It was an emotional book to write. If it wasn't for my wife, Betty, I don't think it would have been written with such completeness and purpose. She was also the driving force behind the translation into Spanish."
