Nano Hearing Aids has announced that they have developed a new, more affordable type of noise reduction technology, which they are now fitting in their entry-level over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids.
The research and development team at Nano Hearing Aids has announced that they have developed new noise reduction and feedback technology, which they are now integrating into their First Ear Plus BTE OTC hearing aids.
This new model, which is currently available for the brand’s cheapest price, at $297, boasts sophisticated new hearing technology for the brand that is developed to deliver on good hearing in day-to-day life; offering crisp, distinct, rich, and natural sounds in all environments.
In creating this tiny yet powerful noise reduction tech, Nano’s goal has been to reduce the cost of hearing aids, which in large part derives from the cost of designing, developing, and manufacturing this hearing technology.
Although the brand’s OTC hearing aids are recommended to any adult over the age of 18 who is living with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss, their research and development team has specifically made this new affordable clarity-boosting technology with seniors and retirees in mind.
They know both that hearing loss is a condition that disproportionately affects the elderly— with one in three people over 60 having hearing loss, and one in two people over 85 having hearing loss—and that American seniors are more likely to be affected by the current cost-of-living crisis, with financially struggling.
What Nano also knows is that delaying treatment for hearing loss can exacerbate social isolation, loneliness, and loss of mental cognition in old age—something they are determined to address with their new more effective, and more affordable hearing technology.
“On average, it takes nearly 7 years for someone to address their hearing loss. That’s 7 years of missing out on conversations, music, and laughter,” said Ryan F. Zackon, the CEO of Nano Hearing Aids. “That’s why hearing loss is often mistaken for dementia in older individuals, but it doesn’t have to be this way.”
He added, “We hope that with our new more affordable hearing technology, we can help seniors to take action now and reconnect with their life with our new First Ear Plus BTE OTC Hearing Aids—saying hello to clearer hearing and a brighter future.”
The brand’s First Ear Plus BTE aids also feature smart omnidirectional microphones which capture sound from a wider field so that the aids can reproduce it more naturally.
Plus, despite their small and nearly invisible behind-the-ear design, they also offer wearers two different program settings, one for listening in normal daily life, and one for hearing when in noisy environments.
Nano Hearing Aids is committed to emphasizing affordability, sound quality, and useability in their designs, and they encourage interested seniors to discover more about their good hearing promise.
