Nyack, NY’s best indoor golf club and brewhouse The Challenger Bay (854-480-5067) is inviting you and your family to its first-ever Down By The Bay Day event.
Ready for a day of smiles, positive vibes, and good times? Well, that's exactly what you can expect at The Challenger Bay’s first annual Down By The Bay Day event. You'll be treated to a wide range of food and drink offerings, games, golf challenges, raffles, and entertainment geared towards the family. The event is set for July 20th, 2024 from 12 to 5 pm at The Hub Shopping Center.

The Down By The Bay Day event will include a long drive, closest to the pin, and putting competition all contested using The Challenger Bay’s innovative E6 Connect Virtual Golf Technology. This technology, which offers a selection of over 100 different golf courses, allows you to enjoy a simulated golfing experience from a single, static location.
“Our E6 Connect Virtual Golf Technology gives you the chance to work on your golf game while having fun with your family and friends,” said a spokesperson for The Challenger Bay. “Because it is portable, we’re going to set it up at the Down By The Bay Day event, along with several other awesome things for you to check out.”
Also at the Down By The Bay Day event will be a bouncy house, a dunk tank, a cigar demonstration, and a remote-controlled racecar exhibition presented by Primal RC. DJ D-Low is providing music for the event and numerous prizes will be handed out throughout the day.
For food, The Challenger Bay has partnered with respected Italian restaurant and pizzeria Amici to offer a spread of sausage and pepper sandwiches and wings. To go with the food, local brewery Round Table Brewing is supplying a selection of craft, import, and domestic beers, as well as red and white sangrias. Plus, they will be hosting a complimentary beer tasting at the event.
The Challenger Bay is putting on the Down By The Bay Day event to bring the community together and to promote their indoor golf club and brewhouse, which has been in operation since 2021.
At their facility, they have multiple virtual golf bays, a beer garden with many different beers on tap, and plenty of comfortable seating options. The bays are frequently rented out for birthday parties, office gatherings, and fundraisers. They also host numerous competitions throughout the year for those who are in it for the glory. In addition to golf, their projector screens can be used to watch movies, play video games, and stream sports.
