Based on the review of thousands on ASVAB takers experiences while taking the test, ASVAB Practice devised an exam preparation guide that is easy-to-follow, builds confidence, and eliminates those pre-exam fears, so individuals think clearly when under pressure. This guide also covers all aspects of the ASVAB, so exam takers aren't surprised by any aspect of the exam and put under additional stress.
With the ASVAB comprising of nine subjects - General Science (GS), Arithmetic Reasoning (AR), Word Knowledge (WK), Paragraph Comprehension (PC), Mathematics Knowledge (MK), Electronics Information (EI), Auto Shop (AS), Mechanical Comprehension (MC), and Assembling Objects (AO) - it’s easy to feel overwhelmed during the ASVAB test.
Pressure builds further when four of these exams - (AR) Arithmetic Reasoning, (MK) Mathematics Knowledge, (PC) Paragraph Comprehension, (WK) Word Knowledge - determine an Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFTQ) score which ascertains whether an individual enters the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps. These scores also determine what role an individual is best suited to in the armed forces.
Individuals can elect to take the ASVAB on a computer or via traditional pen and paper. Both methods take around 3 hours to complete and comprise of between 145 to 225 questions, allowing an individual less than 40-seconds to answer each question.
Being timed puts further stress on an individual making it difficult to concentrate. However, the ASVAB Practice study guides and practice tests eliminate the feeling of panic and allow an individual to focus on the task at hand - getting the best score possible and show casing exactly what they know.
Overall, ASVAB Practice is the ultimate ASVAB Practice center because they go one step further than most by offering an AFQT score simulator, which is a very strong indicator of actual ASVAB scores. Each subject also has a status indicator that displays the readiness of an individual for a particular subject. Individual answers, those that are right and wrong are also displayed, so an individual can see where they need to improve.
When asked about the ASVAB Practice study guides and practice tests one user said, “This is a comprehensive resource that allows you to improve with score history tracking, in-depth study guides and instructional videos. Plus, the site is structured as a social network so that interaction with other students is possible. It's a very smart setup.”
