Sotera is joining this year’s AMIA Annual Symposium on November 5 to 9, 2022! They are looking for hospital informaticians and thought leaders to partner with for their ViSi Mobile system – an innovative patient monitoring app.
Are you a medical informaticist or thought leader in your hospital who wants to make a lasting change in how technology helps improve patient outcomes? Please come by Sotera’s booth at the AMIA (American Medical Informaticist Association) Annual Symposium on November 5 to 9, 2022 in Washington, DC!
The California-based digital health company's product detects early signs of patient deterioration through its vital sign monitoring tool. Occupying booth 416, they will discuss various methods for enhancing patient data collection and reducing clinical burdens through stronger workflow efficiencies.

Sotera is looking for hospital leaders just like you to partner with! Tired of overwhelming amounts of confusing patient data? Wish there was a convenient and easier way to monitor critical patients? They've developed a solution that is sparking conversations all around the country!
On the sidelines of the symposium, the team will be pursuing contact with key opinion leaders to collaborate with and advise on the further development of its data solutions portal. In particular, the company seeks possible partnerships or feedback on its ViSi Mobile System.
ViSi Mobile bridges the gap between intermittent spot checking and ICU intensive monitoring. With continuous surveillance monitoring of key vital signs, early recognition and detection of patient deterioration enables clinicians to make timely and effective interventions. The ViSi system uses machine learning to deliver increased efficiencies to the clinical staff as they treat patients.
ViSi Mobile monitors blood pressure, SpO2 levels, heart rate, pulse rate, respiration rate, skin temperature, ECG, posture, life-threatening arrhythmias, and fall detection. These are usually the measurements that detect possible clinical deterioration. Family members or caregivers are also encouraged to look for early warning signs such as shortness of breath and a change of skin color.
The system can be used on any patient who is 18 years old or older. It is also easy to set up, clean, and manage! Visit booth 416 at the AMIA Symposium or schedule a demonstration at the link below!
This year’s AMIA Symposium will focus on the topic “Informatics: Building the Evidence Base”. The group says that the last few years have demonstrated the need for the US healthcare industry to have greater access to innovative technology and information to improve patient outcomes.
As summed up by Sotera's company spokesperson, "Our goal is to help hospitals improve patient safety across the enterprise while reducing alarm burden and increasing clinical workflow efficiencies. If we can help nurses detect patient deterioration early enough, further complications can be avoided."
Be among over 2,000 attendees of this year's AMIA event and stop at Sotera's booth to find out how their technology can contribute to the work of your facility!
