Just released, Thomas' Billy Bee books once again come to life. After years in print, two decades in fact, Thomas' books have moved into the 21st Century. In eBook format, the Adventures of Billy Bee, which is a series of five books is now more accessible for children.
Wanting to share his series with a greater number of children, Thomas has turned to online publishing. Firmly believing that releasing his series in eBook format will help share his messages of love, friendship and self-worth, Thomas embraces innovation.
Illustrated in bold, vivid colors that captivate and stimulate the imagination, the Billy Bee series focuses on self-esteem and sends children a very powerful message. With rhyming words, the series comforts those reading or listening to the story, making it memorable and thought-provoking.
Peter Thomas' concreting career has seen him create commercial and residential masterpieces. His creations are on view across the nation and even internationally in the Bahamas Exuma Cays. While concreting is Thomas' main career, his passion lies with writing children's books.
Peter Thomas, author of the Adventures of Billy Bee series, has taught the importance of reading and writing to hundreds of children in schools all over the country with his books and motivational speeches. After he visited the Reed Academy, teacher Ursula Lyons said, "As Peter spoke to the children about his books and his own life, I watched their faces light up. They seemed to feel there was hope for them to achieve some success also if they find and use their gifts as he did. If there were more people like Peter Thomas, the number of young people ruining their lives would diminish. He needs to tell his story, which resembles a 'Good Will Hunting' scenario, because Peter comes from Boston also."
The other books in the series that are going to be converted to eBooks are “Callie’s Wish”, “What Winning’s About”, “Friends Like These” and “Treasures”. All the stories are the modern day Aesop’s Fables which teach kids the basic lessons of life which are surrounded by love, empathy and empowerment.
"As a teacher, I found your books to be very well rounded and educational. The lessons taught in these books can be used with any age and are everyday lessons. Thank you for writing such powerful stories with great lessons and illustrations. We can't wait to read about Billy Bee's next adventure," says Mrs. Christine Nagle, St. Michael School, North Andover.
