Sarah created the collection during the height of the pandemic when government shutdowns made it difficult to continue live music performances. Over time, she’s added new long-sleeved T-shirts to the range, each offering a unique window into New York culture.
A recent YouGov poll revealed that a majority of Americans now perceive graffiti as a legitimate art form, and Sarah is tapping into this growing appreciation - she wants to reach a broader audience of graffiti enthusiasts and individuals intrigued by the energy and creativity of urban culture.
The ‘We Rise By Lifting Others’ T-shirt has shoulder-to-shoulder taping, is made from 100% pre-shrunk cotton, and is available in a range of bold hues, including black, blue, red, and purple - marrying comfort and visual impact. All orders for her collection are made, printed, and shipped from within the US, with delivery times ranging from 7 to 12 days.
The collection features additional pieces that celebrate the diverse expressions of urban art, including a ‘Blue Moon Girl’ design showcasing a woman's silhouette against a blue moon backdrop, while the ‘One Eye Heart’ piece replaces the subject's eye with a heart symbol.
Alongside the T-shirt offerings, Sarah sells a range of complementary products, including candles, leggings, bags, and more.
She states: “So far I have about 20 images that I photographed in NYC, mostly on the Lower East Side - and I’m releasing each as a T-shirt because the images tell a distinct story. They’re edgy, and most - if not all of them - are no longer where they were photographed because graffiti in NYC doesn't last long. Either the sanitation department comes along and tears them down or people just paste, draw, or otherwise alter the images.”
The whole collection is vibrant and oozes creativity – so the T-shirts make ideal gifts for your friends, family, or colleagues.
