The Ultimate R&B Experience is brought to you by event coordinator Darryl Dungee, also known as FollowTheDJ. The Secret Garden Soiree is a BYOC event, so bring your most comfortable lawn chair or picnic blanket. And if you want to get the best spot, you should make sure to arrive early.
The park will open from 12 Noon to 8 pm on August 26th and 27th - so plenty of time for you to enjoy everything the festival has to offer. This includes performances by MJB Tribute Band and The Junkyard Band, among others. Whether you're looking forward to some old-school R&B or the latest hit, you'll get to experience it at the Secret Garden Soiree.
Of course you can't be expected to sing and dance on an empty stomach! And you won't have to because the Secret Garden Soiree will also have food trucks. Whether you're craving BBQ or a delicious dessert, you can check out one of Raleigh's best food trucks.
You can also support other local businesses, such as jewelry, soap, and art sellers. Talk about a community event!
The park is also easily accessible by wheelchair, with free parking available nearby. But, do keep in mind that the parking is expected to fill up fast, so maybe consider using Uber and Lyft instead.
