The newest report details the inspiring tale in which Desi Perkins, a beauty influencer with over 3 million followers on YouTube, introduces her adopted pets to the world via an interview with The Dodo.
Desi and her husband Steven’s first rescue dog is a 14-year-old miniature poodle and cocker spaniel mixed breed named Harper. The couple adopted Harper, who they affectionately refer to as “wise little goat” when she was just a sick puppy.
The report notes that after experiencing a miscarriage in 2018, Desi found a source of comfort in Harper.
The Perkins rescued their second dog Cannoli, who is a chihuahua and Yorkie mix after her previous owner abandoned her in a backyard. Although the dog was originally disobedient and rambunctious, the couple eventually enrolled her in puppy school to receive her training certification.
After years of contemplation, Desi and Steven recently adopted a third dog Charlie after he was found as a stray in a junkyard.
Hero Doggie’s article states that the Perkins take pride in the fact that they were able to rescue all three of their pets. The couple continues to encourage their fanbase to adopt as many puppies as they are able to.
