What Is The Board And Train Program?
When you enroll your dog in the Board and Train program, it will be kept at Elements K9 Training’s facility for a period of anywhere from 1 to 5 weeks. During this period, it will be fed, sheltered, supervised, and put through a comprehensive training plan tailored to its unique developmental needs.
Because the training plan is customizable, it can be structured to cover any number of topics that your dog needs to work on. The most common topics covered are things like obedience, aggression control, social etiquette, and positive reinforcement; however, they also offer leash, potty, and crate training.
Is Board And Train Right For My Dog
Elements K9 Training accepts all dogs into their Board and Train program. With that being said, dogs are usually at their most impressionable and receptive when they are puppies, between the ages of 3 and 12 weeks. It's typically at this age that they are at their peak in terms of skill acquisition and curiosity, so if possible, this is when you should be looking to enroll them.
Why Board And Train?
The Board and Train program provides your dog with a safe and distraction-free area where it can concentrate on its development and growth. Your dog is also able to get more familiar with the trainers, and build up a greater level of trust with them than they could in other one-on-one programs, which in most cases, leads to faster and more noticeable results.
Elements K9 Training founder and master dog trainer Garrett Beckwith oversees the Board and Train program. He and his team of certified dog trainers have decades of experience training dogs of all breeds, ages, and developmental stages.
“At Elements K9 Training our mission is to enrich the quality of your dog’s life by supporting them through all stages of their development,” said Beckwith. “By enrolling your dog in our Board and Train program, you’re providing them with the care, attention, and support they need to become the best versions of themselves.”
Other Programs They Offer
If you think that the Board and Train program isn't for you and your dog, Elements K9 Training also offers private one-on-one sessions where a trainer will meet you at a location of your choosing and work with your dog on the things they need to improve. These sessions generally last one to two hours and can be scheduled as many times a week as you like. If you want a bit more freedom and convenience, you also have the option to schedule virtual training sessions conducted over Zoom.
