The newly launched course is a five-day auditory intervention program that can reduce stress and auditory sensitivity while enhancing your social engagement and resilience.

Rooted in Polyvagal Theory, the program is based on decades of research and has been developed by Dr Stephen Porges. Safe And Sound Protocol (SSP) has been proven to be effective across a wide variety of studies, including clinical trials with children suffering from ASD.

Following the program, participants in the trial showed significant improvements in their emotional control, behavioral organization, hearing sensitivity and listening.

The program is based on a practical bottom-up approach that allows you to regulate the nervous system more consistently and independently.

Participants who have taken the program already cite that it’s helped them to feel better, think more clearly, and connect with others more genuinely.

SSP aims to help you feel calmer, more grounded and resilient. In tandem with this, participants tend to feel less irritable, anxious and overwhelmed. By taking the program, participants are also able to think in a more attentive and creative way.

In five days, the program is able to provide significant therapy results for those with social and emotional difficulties, auditory sensitivities, and anxiety or trauma-related challenges. It also helps those who have stressors that impact social engagement and those on the autism spectrum.

The process works through audio, with participants listening to specially mastered vocal music through headphones for one hour every day for five days.

Insight from a parent who has tried the program can be found at: https://youtu.be/SEezhv7Tuws

The music is specially designed to exercise the muscles in the middle of the ear, enabling them to become activated more to the range of frequencies that people use for social engagement.

Laura Moorehead is recommending the program, and states: “If you have tried everything and nothing has worked, it could be because your nervous system is in a freeze response. The SSP is designed to help your body shift out of this survival mechanism and orient towards healing.”
