Singer Sarah James Announces Launch of New Cool Gear Store with a Facebook Live Event 3.20.21 7:30 PM EST
"Sarah James Jazz Merch", will be celebrating the launch of Fabulous Summer "Cool Rose and Poppy Sexy Dress" by Sarah James. A singer and poet by trade this new venture is off the beaten path for Ms. James, who is primarily a performer and artist.
The lack of work due to covid and the closings of venues and performance opportunities made way for this new clothing and accessories business to emerge. Years of taking photographs inspired by music, nature, and urban life have provided the visual art to create these unique designs.
This launch will be donating 10% of the first week of sales to THE JAZZ FOUNDATION OF AMERICA, an organization dedicated to helping musicians deal with the economic and mental fallout, dangers, and repercussions of the pandemic.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 20, 2021 on the Spring Equinox at 7:30 PM EST with a Facebook Live Party featuring Sarah James and pianist John Dimartino. James will be singing some jazz standards, some of her original music, her poetry, and featuring some of the designs.
Celebrating this launch in high gear on Facebook, Ms. James is using her artwork and photographs in this new line of dresses, leggings, bathing suits, flip flops, laptop computer cases, facemasks, mugs, and more.
The colors are bright and summer is bursting all over.
Sarah James says: "I am thrilled and excited to be sharing the love with everyone who wears and uses our gear. I am beyond happy that throughout this terrible pandemic, I had the time and space to work on these designs. I hope to keep producing more merch products and supporting THE JAZZ FOUNDATION in the years to come. The pandemic has wreaked a lot of havoc, but hopefully, we can all recover soon and get back to enjoying life, listening to and creating live music, and visiting friends and family."
