This certification is a measure of LTI Compliance, and SeatGEN is very proud to have earned this recognition. The LTI certification means that SeatGEN integrates with the Canvas and other learning management platforms. Through the integration, classroom faculty can allow students to self-select their seats before classes start. The process works much like when customers book their seat on an airplane before a flight or choose a seat at a concert. Alternatively, faculty can assign seats to students in advance. Or the faculty member can follow the traditional method of distributing a paper seating chart to the students to record where they are sitting. The electronic version of that chart is created later. Regardless of the approach, the software facilitates student engagement and participation while the professor can better track attendance and class participation.
