Build self-confidence by having the right inner development goals. 29K offers a simple IDG framework that allows you to learn necessary self-awareness skills to be the best version of yourself.
We need to change the narrative that self-development is selfish. Yes, working on yourself does require a bit of selfishness, but it’s a much needed experience for you to grow and become better. And, being selfish for the right reasons and at the right time can help you be more generous to others in the future.
So take the time to love yourself first - and explore the newest offering at 29K.
29K recently launched its newest landing page for inner development goals (IDGs). The landing page provides you with a practical and realistic framework you can use to hone your skills and become more confident within yourself.
It’s pretty simple. The minute you enter the page, you will be asked to select the inner development skills you wish to practice further. These can range from having a better relationship with yourself to developing better critical thinking. From there, the page shows the most relevant content based on your selection. This personalized framework allows you to view only the content you want to see.

This page is intended for people who want to develop better communication and perspective skills. The mental health nonprofit discusses the importance of taking the time for self-development. It explains that modern society is often so focused on external validation that it forgets the need for inner development.
Still, inner development allows you to build an openness and learning mindset that you can use in your everyday life, whether personally or professionally. More importantly, you must practice these skills regularly so that you can cultivate more optimism and creativity in your work.
Personal development is one of the hardest, but most fulfilling, processes you will experience in your life. Sadly, we are often told to ignore it because we need to “give to others”. But keep in mind that we can only give what we, ourselves, have. You need to fill your cup first before other people can drink from it.
The new landing page also includes the option to enroll in different IDG classes. These classes, which range from self-compassion to purposeful leadership, can be taken on their own or with a group. 29K recommends sharing the learnings with a group to improve comprehension.
One of the more popular IDG courses is “Acting with Purpose”. The class provides you with three tools to create a healthier and more proactive relationship with many global and societal challenges. You will learn how to make a positive impact on the world through individual action. Some of the challenges discussed are loneliness, political crises, and polarization.
29K is an open-sourced, co-created nonprofit that provides psychological tools for mental health and civic leadership at no cost. It is on a mission to help change the lives of millions of people worldwide through accessible and meaningful education.
29K can be downloaded on the App Store or Google Play.
